Our Philosophy

At Blooming the learning process is all over the place, the school is the people, taking students out of the classroom is at our core and this practice allows us to expand the connections for the integral, transformative and full development of our students.

Whether at school or with family, the student needs to be aware that anywhere can provide experiences and knowledge, regardless of whether or not it is related to the content learned in the school. In this way, the child feels engaged in being the protagonist of their own education.

The study outside the room makes the child experience other contexts of reality that are not seen in teaching materials. Thus, they can observe and interact with the facts they are studying in class.

We put the students at the center of the learning process and build strategies so that they can learn to be, learn to live, learn to know and learn to do (according to the four pillars described in the report of the International Commission on Education for the 21st Century for UNESCO).

These pillars reflect our focus on the intellectual, socio-emotional, ethical and multicultural development of our students.

The pillars of education published by UNESCO in its book report “Education: A Treasure to Discover” of 1999, check below:

“Happiness, meaning of life is not a ready answer or something we put in our pockets. It’s a question that should accompany us.”

Learning to know

According to the UNESCO report, this type of learning aims to master the instruments of knowledge. Our school seeks to actively contribute to our children understanding the world around them so that they can fully live their social abilities, stimulating the pleasure in learning, knowing, discovering with joy. "The process of learning is never finished, and can be enriched with any experience."

Learning to do

Learn how to put into practice the knowledge acquired. Our philosophy is that learning must evolve and can no longer be considered as mere transmission of routines and practices. Thus, we emphasize the acquisition of skills, technical and socio-emotional so that our students develop their skills inside and outside the school.

Learning to live together

We seek to contribute so that our students progressively get to know themselves and others. Developing empathy and encouraging participation in projects with common goals to develop the notion of community and interrelationship between all living beings.

Learning to be

"Education must contribute to the full development of the person —spirit and body, intelligence, sensitivity, aesthetic sense, personal responsibility, spirituality." We seek to prepare our children to elaborate autonomous and critical thoughts and to formulate their own values, so that they can decide for themselves how to act in the different circumstances of life. Therefore we seek to offer experiences that make sense for its holistic development, stimulating creativity, sociability and the various forms of human expression (arts, music, sports, etc.).
