Why so much ‘art’ in Early Childhood Education?

Did you know that children tend to learn more effectively when their senses are stimulated? Creating opportunities for young children to explore the world through smells, textures, sounds, and tastes promotes a deep, holistic approach to learning.
That’s why at Blooming, the teachers are no longer the ones delivering ready-made content; instead, they become the mediators of research and experiences around the proposed content. These experiences are intentional, guided by the reference adult, and planned according to the needs of each age group.
The different messes, investigations into color mixing, feet covered in wet dirt, and hands full of flour serve as invitations for our children to explore important concepts and express themselves through various forms of language, creating their own artistic and cultural productions. Additionally, the references to different artists provide a foundation and bring aesthetic repertoire to each group.
May our little ones continue making lots of art at school!
